Beautiful Aqua Verde's south
anchorage...just spectacular with it's perfect white beach and
aquamarine waters. |
| This picture was taken from one of
the goat trails high above our anchorage and shows the really idyllic
setting. |
 |
 |
Our boat was anchored in such clear
aqua water it appeared to be levitating. This was great swimming
water, if still a little chilly in April. |
| Sometimes the only way to find the
correct trail is to follow the cow that is making it... |
 |
 |
Each home in the village was very
clean and tidy and had some or all of the following: goats, cows,
chickens and/or pigs in their yard. |
| Shell collecting became a big hobby
of mine and although this beach wasn't a particularly good place for
shells it was a place I loved to relax and make different shell
arrangements. |

 |
Another yachty pot luck on the beach
with a perfect sunset in a perfect flat anchorage. |
| This is what I call
friendship....Bob and Doreen got up at 5 a.m. to prepare a birthday
breakfast for me and wake me up with pots and pans and silly masks.... |
 |
 |
And this is the result (after they
gave me a chance to dress), a birthday breakfast complete with cup cakes
with candles, champagne and orange juice, napkins and tablecloth, plates
and fresh coffee! |
