Isla Cedros, Mexico

This is the view of Cedros as we approached.  I spent hours sitting on the bow like this either reading or listening to books and watching for the whales.
The approach to the Northern Anchorage where the noise from the sea lions invited you to investigate further!
These playful harbor seals were attracted to the boat and danced around us as we drifted in the bay observing them.  They were so playful and excited to see us!
This is the first time I have seen elephant seals and I never realised how big they got!!  At first sight you think they are rocks until you look through the binoculars and see the babies suckling to the mother seals...they really are incredible to see and they really do look just like elephant trunks!!!!
We couldn't get too close to the elephant seals because they were nursing, so you'll just have to believe us when we say how incredible they look!
If you look really carefully at the black slimy things sitting next to the big elephant looking things, you can just about make out that they are very young babies!  Of course our view was much better through the binoculars!
