Copper Canyon Trip

Itinerary
Day 1 - Chihuahua 
Arrival to Chihuahua City airport where your professional tour guide and private motorcoach will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel.
Tonight join your escort for a Mexican Welcome dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 - Chihuahua – Cerocauh 
Early this morning we will board the “Ferromex Chepe First Class Coach” for our rail trip through the rugged terrain across Mexico ’s Sierra Madre mountains to Cerocauhi. The train arrives in Bahuichivo (Cerocauhi train station) at 2:00pm approximately, and then we will be transferred by a local motorcoach to Cerocahui town (40 min drive approx).
Upon arrival to our hotel we will get settled in our rooms. This afternoon our tour guide will lead a walking tour where we will visit the old Mision, the main plaza and the boarding school for Tarahumara girls (we suggest to bring some gifts for the girls).

Day 3 - Cerocauhi – Posada Barrancas
This morning we will ride to the Gallegos Urique Lookout. It is the most 
sweeping view of the Copper canyon system readily available for tourists. Start at the 7500 ft elevation overlook of the deepest canyon, Urique Canyon , and of the mining town of Urique .
Interesting stops at old Tarahumara Church , a cave home, a ranch and the Virgencita spring, 22miles round trip, 3 ½ hours.
We will then get back to our hotel for lunch and then we will be transferred to the train station to re-board the train to Posada Barrancas. Admire the beautiful scenery on the return trip. The train winds and bores its way through tunnels of the Tarahumar range of the western Sierra Madre. Upon arriving we will be transferred to our spectacular rim view hotel.

Day 4 - Posada Barrancas – Creel
Use your free time this morning to bargain with the Tarahumara Indians who sell their hand made crafts near the hotel. After lunch we will take the train to Creel. Upon arriving this afternoon we will have free time for a walking tour around the town.

Day 5 - Creel – Chihuahua
This morning we will enjoy a tour of Creel. We will visit the Arareko Lake, the Mushroom Valley (rock formations), the Old San Ignacio Mision, a Tarahumara Cave and the Cusarare Waterfall. Then we will depart for Chihuahua City by private motorcoach for our last night in Chihuahua . Tonight farewell dinner at the hotel.

Day 6 - Travel
It’s time to say adios to your new Mexican friends! After breakfast transfer to the airport.

Dorene Hauff, brings a distinctive background of Psychology/Social Work and Healing Arts to the seminars. Dorene is the founder and owner of InSight Management Consulting, and has spent 35 years providing training and coaching to those wanting to gain knowledge of synchronistic leadership, the law of attraction and personal growth and development. She has received many awards for her creative efforts and training designs, and has trained all over the U.S., Internationally, and at all levels of business, government agencies, non-profits, and individuals. Her distinctive blend of Psychology and the Healing Arts of Reiki, Psych-K, Emotional Freedom Technique, Guided Imagery, Chakra Clearing/Healing, Soul Retrieval and Shamanic arts provides the participants with an integrated perspective on how to attain passion through personal insightfulness. Dorene has sailed over 42,000 nautical miles aboard her personal sailing yacht visiting and living in different cultures. From that rich experience she entwines the true honoring of cultural diversity and gratitude into her presentations along with the personal journey of realizing her own passion. Dorene resides in Bozeman, Montana, USA. in the summer months and travels during the winter facilitating “live your passion” workshops.
Julie Salisbury is a published Author, owner of Distinctive Management Co. and co-founder of a non-profit that supports education and well-being of women and children in Cambodia. She has been featured on TV in the UK (Anglia TV and Satellite) and Victoria, B.C. (Shaw Daily Show), regularly featured as a radio talk show guest (“Living on Purpose”, Wayne Kelly Show) and has a regular segment on CFAX1070AM. She has been featured in international newspapers (Daily Mail UK)Times Colonist, B.C. and has visited over 35 countries and lived in over 10. Her published book “A Seven Year Journey Around the World – Discovering my passion and purpose” is a personal account of her own journey to discovering passion and purpose in life. She is working on her second book “The journey to a passionate life” She is the founder of “InspireABook – Be the author of your dreams” and facilitates first time author workshops. During the summer months Julie resides in Victoria B.C. and travels during the winter months facilitating “Live your passion” workshops and “InspireABook” workshops.
